What We Do
A design studio offering a range of services for Short Term Rental properties. Parklin Interiors was created to help your property stand out from the crowd and maximize your bookings and revenue. We provide high end aesthetics while keeping sustainability and affordability at the forefront. Our design experience began when I had children and enjoyed designing their bedrooms and playrooms, which evolved into designing for clients. Fast forward to now, where we are designing STR’s. We currently own three cabins in the Smokies. We have identified the unique challenges many STR owners face, these challenges are magnified when managing properties remotely and not having the local resources to get the overall look they want. We have a knack for seeing pictures of a space or the rental listing and being able to pull together a unique design with many layers and textures to turn any room into a thoughtfully curated space for our clients.
Design Services
ROOM DESIGN & SPACE PLANNING
- Consultation and review of each space to be designed
- We design all interior rooms as well as decks and outdoor spaces
- New build finish selection (tile, countertops, fixtures etc.)
- Overhead/3D rendering of each main space
- Design/Room board for each space showing all proposed items and color selections, accent walls etc.
- One revision round for each space to make any required changes
- Product links to purchase all room board items directly
- Detailed install guide for each room
- Stocking list links for all items required to have your STR ready to go live
Additional Services
- INSTALL Let our local partner do all the heavy lifting for you. From package acceptance to furniture build/install to light construction, we can take the hard work out of making your new design come to life.
- STR SET-UP A list of everything you need to get your space up and running, all in one shopping list. Utensils, USB ports, flash lights, fire extinguishers, plungers, etc. plus a many extras that will set you apart from the rest. We have thought of everything plus more, so you and your guests don’t have to.
- CO-HOSTING YOUR STR We understand the unique challenges and opportunities that come with being a STR host. Our co-hosting services cater to property owners wanting to reclaim their time and enjoy the benefits of their investment without the stress. To maximize your rental income, occupancy rates and your ROI: we handle everything from listing set-up and optimization, pricing, guest bookings and communication, cleaning & maintenance team co-ordination and marketing.

Everything in this tired and outdated room had to go! Fresh paint, LV floors, furniture, lighting and decor for a complete design overhaul.
We wanted to add depth to the color scheme in this cabin. There was a lot of light wood throughout so we added grey to the furniture, french doors, and LV floors adding rich and balanced tones.
